While many hiking trails are crowded in the summer, here you can often still experience the Stubai mountains in their natural state. The trail leads past rustic alpine pastures, blooming alpine roses, and breathtaking panoramic viewpoints. At the end of the trail, an extraordinary circular bench awaits you with a breathtaking 360-degree view—from the glaciers of the Stubai Valley all the way to the Inn Valley. It’s a place where you’ll naturally want to linger a little longer.

Yes, of course! The Wilde Wasser Trail is one of the most popular hikes in the Stubai Valley. If you just want to reach the Grawa Waterfall, you can stick to the first section of the trail. You’ll reach it in about 20 minutes.
On stage 2, you’ll find the base of the Sulzenau Falls, the most impressive of the three waterfalls along the trail. It takes 1.5 to 2 hours to reach it on foot (from the starting point). So we’d recommend doing the first two stages—it’s absolutely beautiful!
We are happy to recommend the Bsuchalm or the Klaus Äuele for this. Both tours are leisurely, scenically beautiful and leave enough time to spend a relaxing afternoon at our hiking hotel:
Either relax your muscles after the hike in our spa area (with saunas, steam bath and much more) or read a good book in the lovingly landscaped hotel garden. Thanks to the Stubai.Super.Card, our guests can also explore the swimming pools in the Neustift – Stubaital region free of charge. If you are unsure, we will be happy to advise you personally.
Thanks to our hiking hotel’s very central location right in the heart of the hiking area, all hiking trails are within easy reach. You can easily reach many starting points via the free hiking bus, which stops just 50 meters from the hotel. With the STUBAI.SUPER.CARD, you can even travel throughout the entire valley for free and take part in the free guided hikes. That’s why many of our guests simply leave their cars behind during their vacation.
Of course, we will be happy to tell you our favorite places as part of our personal, individual hiking advice at reception. In addition, you will find current recommendations in our morning post every morning. If you want to delve even deeper into the mountain world, you shouldn’t miss the “Wanderbares Stubaital” lecture with hotel manager Stefan. There are many tips that you won’t find in any hiking guide.
Absolutely! Our spacious family rooms and suites or rooms with internal connecting doors are ideal for families to spend a comfortable skiing or hiking vacation in the Stubaital.
For our children and teenagers there is a small playroom with table soccer, doll’s house, kitchen and various games in the house and a playground with slide, swing and trampoline in the garden.
Only in our wellness area do we ask for consideration for adults seeking peace and quiet. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
Around our active hotel you can get impressions of the nature of the Stubaital. Please note, however, that willows are a protected species. We therefore recommend taking branches from your own garden or buying them in local shops to protect the environment. Around Easter time, many stores in Tyrol offer the specially grown branches.
In places like Neustift in the Stubai Valley, it is a popular custom for children to attach their palm bushes to long, decorated wooden sticks. On Palm Sunday, there is often a small, friendly competition in the church to see who has brought the most impressive and longest pole.
A real bush in our valley consists mainly of palm catkins and boxwood. While the catkins herald the arrival of spring, the green boxwood stands for eternal life. The whole thing is decorated with colorful fabric ribbons and the typical palm pretzels.

Also included is a free ride on the summer toboggan run in Mieders once a week and admission to the StuBay outdoor and indoor pool in Fulpmes for 3 hours. You can also use the Miederer Badl outdoor pool free of charge every day. The Stubai Super Card is also valid on the day of arrival and departure.
For your hikes in the beautiful Stubai mountains, we are happy to provide you with free rental hiking poles and backpacks, hiking maps.
In addition, the head of the house gives a weekly slide show about the “hikeable” Stubai Valley and gives many valuable tips in the morning post. Manager Helga and our dedicated team will also be happy to advise you on hiking and are always available to answer any questions you may have.
And off the hiking trails? You can get a 10% discount on mountain bike rental from our partner sports store directly opposite.
In winter, we are happy to organize ski passes for your all-round carefree vacation. You also receive a 10% discount on ski rental at the sports store opposite.
Free toboggan rental at the hotel for tobogganing fun on our local mountain Elfer, just 300 m from the hotel.
For our winter hikers, we also lend hiking poles and rucksacks, snowshoes, gaiters and winter hiking maps free of charge at our reception.

After a successful day of skiing, you can easily lock your skis in the hotel’s own ski room and hang up your ski boots in our boot dryer.
The free ski bus stops nearby (just 40 m from our hotel in Neustift) and shuttles to the ski areas every quarter of an hour.

Park your car right by the house and leave it in peace! Or arrive by train or plane. The Stubaitalbus takes you to Neustift in 45 minutes. If you want it quicker, we will be happy to organize a cab for a fee.
