For guests of the Berg Genuss Hotel Augarten, the tour begins right outside the front door. From the hiking hotel in the center of Neustift, it’s only about a 10- to 15-minute walk to the hiking parking lot on Bachertalweg. That’s where the actual ascent begins. At first, the trail winds uphill along a steeper forest path before merging into the scenic Sunnenseit’n Weg. About 1 hour and 15 minutes from the hiking parking lot, you’ll reach the suspension bridge, which spans the chasm some 50 meters above. Just above it lies the Neustiftblick observation deck.
