Q: Why is our hiking hotel the best choice for your hiking vacation in the Stubai Valley?

As a specialized hiking hotel in Neustift, we’ll make your hiking vacation in the Stubai Valley even more enjoyable with a host of thoughtful extras. Thanks to our central location right in the heart of the hiking area, many trails start practically right outside the hotel door. With the free STUBAI.SUPER.CARD, you can use the mountain railways for free, and the hiking bus stop is just 50 meters from the hotel. To make sure you’re well-equipped to start your day, we provide hiking poles and backpacks free of charge. Your hosts, Helga and Stefan, will be happy to personally help you plan your hikes and provide you with new hiking and excursion tips every day in our morning newsletter. In addition, you can look forward to a weekly hiking talk about the “hikeable Stubai Valley” as well as free guided hikes from June through September.

As a hotel specializing in hiking, we offer many hiking extras that make your hiking vacation pleasantly hassle-free. In addition to healthy treats at the breakfast buffet (specially for hikers) and cozy relaxation in our spa area after your hike, the following services await you: free guided hikes in the region (from June through September), personalized hiking advice at the front desk, daily hiking tips in the morning newsletter, free rental of hiking poles and backpacks, and the free STUBAI.SUPER.CARD with free use of the mountain railways in the Stubai Valley. There’s also an on-site hiking room with a boot dryer for your hiking boots and a free hiking bus just 50 m from the hotel. The central location right in the heart of Neustift, directly in the hiking area, is an added bonus.

Q: Can I just do the first section of the Wilde Wasser Trail?

Yes, of course! The Wilde Wasser Trail is one of the most popular hikes in the Stubai Valley. If you just want to reach the Grawa Waterfall, you can stick to the first section of the trail. You’ll reach it in about 20 minutes. On stage 2, you’ll find the base of the Sulzenau Falls, the most impressive of the three waterfalls along the trail. It takes 1.5 to 2 hours to reach it on foot (from the starting point). So we’d recommend doing the first two stages—it’s absolutely beautiful!

Q: Which hike is suitable if I only have half a day?

We are happy to recommend the Bsuchalm or the Klaus Äuele for this. Both tours are leisurely, scenically beautiful and leave enough time to spend a relaxing afternoon at our hiking hotel: Either relax your muscles after the hike in our spa area (with saunas, steam bath and much more) or read a good book in the lovingly landscaped hotel garden. Thanks to the Stubai.Super.Card, our guests can also explore the swimming pools in the Neustift - Stubaital region free of charge. If you are unsure, we will be happy to advise you personally.
